
Christine has extensive clinical experience in both private and public settings for children, adolescents, and adults with eating disorders, as well as a range of mental illnesses. In addition to Redleaf, Christine currently works within the Consultation-Liaison Team in the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, providing support to young people with chronic illnesses and their families, as well as those presenting with severe mental illness.
Christine has worked in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Peter Beumont Eating Disorders Service (inpatient and outpatient) and the inpatient eating disorders unit in Northside Clinic. Outside of eating disorders, Christine has worked in private clinics and schools providing generalist mental health treatment, as well as in the somatoform disorder team within the Children’s Hospital.
Therapy style and influences

Christine works collaboratively and respectfully with her clients and their families to improve their psychological wellbeing. Christine is flexible in tailoring treatment depending on the individual’s presenting concerns, goals of therapy, and background. Christine’s therapeutic approach incorporates strategies from a range of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family Based Treatment, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. In addition to English, Christine delivers evidence-based therapies in Cantonese.
