Looking for a new opportunity?
The Redleaf Practice is a multidisciplinary practice offering clinical psychology and psychiatry services. Our practice focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder. Our clients also often present with co-morbid diagnoses, such as mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders and trauma.
We are recognised as one of the leading outpatient providers for eating disorders in Australia. Our clinical director, Chris Thornton, has close to 30 years’ experience in eating disorders and provides regular supervision and case consultation to all therapists at the practice.
Our approach and values
Our team is committed to providing high quality care, focusing on the core principles of eating disorder treatment. Our therapists combine their clinical experience with scientific evidence to find the best approach for the client. We recognise the importance of individualised, flexible care and value the therapeutic relationship. Wherever possible, we use a partners in care approach, working in close collaboration with clients, carers and all members of the treatment team.
We prioritise creating an encouraging and growth-focused workplace for Redleaf therapists. We understand that private practice can be isolating, and work hard to make sure our therapists feel supported and a sense of community. The benefit of our large team is that there are always others around looking for a chat or to go on a coffee run.
