
Sophie has worked across a range of settings, including private practice, a university psychology clinic, and a hospital outpatient program. As part of her clinical training, Sophie worked at the Blacktown Metabolic and Weight Loss Program which focused on providing assessment and treatment for adults with obesity and comorbid mental health difficulties including binge eating disorder, anxiety, depression, and trauma. In addition, Sophie has experience working in a private practice setting which involved providing assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and families for a variety of presentations including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, ADHD, study stress (procrastination, perfectionism), and school refusal. Sophie has practical and research experience in delivering group therapy programs for those living with bipolar disorder with a recovery-focused approach.
